My Jewellery Angel!

My Budding Jeweller!

My little girl is going to have a thriving Jewellery business when she grows up!
Here she is hard at her craft, moved a table to the brightest spot in the house and got busy creating earrings, necklaces and bracelets!

She is very organised, pity that it does not extend to keeping her room and wardrobe tidy, but you can't have everything!

She carefully lays out her designs!

Just look what lovely things my little 10 year old has created!

Bless her! She has asked me if she can have can have silver and gold earring fitments, clasps, etc... I have suggested she practice a little more and one day, if she keeps creating such pretty items, then I am sure the day will come!
We took some of her earring creations with us to our charity craft fair on Saturday, where she was my little helper, and bless she sold one pair for £1.75, you should have seen her little face!

  1. That's fantastic! They are really pretty, she has great style! My Son drew and coloured some Christmas Cards last year and sold them when he came to help me at a fair. He sold out! (I didn't!!)

  8. Aww bless her. I loved making things when I was little. Sorry a young lady. :o)
Used to 'browse' through mums beading catalogue with much interest, used to be Janet Cole Beads back then! I still have some of the things we made. Was gutted actually the string snapped on one the other day and can't remember which order the beads were in. Will have to re-make it.

  16. I used to love crafting with my daughter when she was little, we made earrings, did glass painting, made cards, cross stitch, all sorts of things. She wasn't tidy like your daughter though - guess who was left to clear up !The only crafts she could never master were knitting and crochet - she's better than me at everything else ! Enjoy this time with your daughter Natalie - it's so,so precious !

  19. I think it's wonderful when children can do crafts and sell them at fairs, my daughter is doing some pyrography. It does their self confidence no end of good and what better preparation for the adult world
