July Jesters Day 19!

N N N N N Nineteen!

For those of you who remember the 80's will know where that came from!

Here we are on the 19th day of our July Jester Challenge! I have been quite busy, so although managing to list daily, have not been doing quite so well with my blogging.

I have decided to give you a small personal treasury of the items I have listed, and as they are so varied in their colour tones, decided today to feature some of the beige and brown toned items from my Jester family, as a foil to all the colours in my treasury.

These wonderful folksy items, that I have chosen to feature from my fellow Jesters, are not however plain, but full of life, fire and interest. Please click on the pictures to be taken to their folksy shops for full details and to view other items they have created.

As you can see, I have been listing more than one item a day, but this is due to wanting to list enough items. so that I can complete the challenge before going away on my holidays, and also to give me a head start into August, so that I can catch up with all the August Listing Challenge Folksters when I get back!

I have been listing items of all variety, something I hope would suit all tastes!

And all purses. Something for ladies and for gents to enjoy equally too!

And somethings to take us into the next season ahead!

I will be placing my shop on Holiday Mode at lunch time on Friday 23rd July, so if you would like anything, the last posting will be the morning of the 23rd and then I am afraid I will be off to somewhere sunny and gorgeous. Yippee!!!!

Half Way House!

July Jester's still going strong,
Fifteen days of listing on,
Crafting is really beginning to flow
Only sixteen more days of listing to go.

An August Club will be the next thing,
to capture folksters and make them bring
new crafts and creations to your screens,
and challenge folksy patrons to buy all seen!

The July Jesters sales tally is growing longer each day and the number of sales increasing, it is great to see how everyone supports and promotes each other, a real crafting community!

Quirky 13!

Here we are on the 13th July, so the 13th day of the Jester challenge and we are still going strong!

The 13th is unlucky for some people, but it has always been a lucky number for me, in fact the numbers three and one have featured in my hubby's and my life quite predominantly. And it was certainly lucky for me today, as I sold the two items I listed this morning almost as soon I listed them!

Today I decided to look for some of the more quirky items in the Jester's listings to feature and revel in their inspiration!

July Jesters Day 10!

Into Double Figures!

Ten days of listing and the sun has been blistering, oooo I'm a poet and didn't know it!

As we have world cup matches today and tomorrow, plus the Silverstone Grand prix tomorrow, it is defo a weekend for men in front of the telly, sad thing is I shall probably be joining them, as I am that rare breed of woman who actually enjoys football and men driving cars round in circles!
I can even give a passable version of the offside rule!

So in honour of our men today and also because my hubby came and rescued me from a dismal craft fair and helped me pack up, I have decided to look and see what blokey items our July Jesters have come up with.

Some wonderful chap inspired charms!

A gorgeous card entitled 'Walk in the Park'

A beautiful print, which although not specific to Gents, I defy them not to love it.

Gorgeous Cufflinks!!!!

Personal Mini Treasury!

As has been my fashion of late, I have been double listing for the start of July, I have also shut down my Zibbet and Dreamaid shops, as to be honest, I was getting very limited views and certainly no sales and have decided to put my focus into Folksy, giving me additional items to list without a great deal of effort on my part.
My two listings today were another fossil in relief ammonite specimen from the Jurassic era, over 180 million years old!

The second item a Hand knitted and crocheted fully lined bag with with wooden arch handles. This is a bag to get you noticed, the front with nine squares and the back one large square, both sides featuring a chevron design.

If you would like a closer inspection of either of my items, please click on the shop link between the pictures to be transported to my folksy shop! Thank you!

Folksy Friday!

A Little bit of Anarchy on Folksy Friday!

I recently commissioned and purchased a stunning T’shirt for my eldest son with the anarchy symbol, from the wonderful
cheerymishmash, as his initials are AO and he has the symbol as his unofficial signature. I could not have been more pleased with the finished item.

http://www.folksy.com/cheerymishmash

I know he is going to be so thrilled with it. I always get a few new items of clothing for the children before we go on holiday, so this T’shirt will be worn for the first time in wonderful Cyprus in a few weeks time.

This got me thinking what other anarchy and rebellious items could I find on Folksy and feature for my Folksy Friday blog!
