Autumn Gemstone Give-Away!
I feel it is time to have another Gemstone Giveaway!
Hooray!
It is easy peasy to get involved, all you need to do:
1. Become a follower, or be an existing follower of my blog.
2. Tell me what your favourite gemstone is and why.
3. Of the items in my shop, which gemstone keyring / handbag charm is the one you would most like to win.
The winning entry will be chosen by some weird and random way, devised by one of my children, at 7pm on the 1st of September.
The Winner will be notified, so make sure I know how to get hold of you, will be announced in the Folksy forum and they will then have the choice of any, yes any gemstone keyring / handbag charm in my shop!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite gemstone is Tigers eye. My mum bought me a tigers eye ring when I was 15 and it was the last present she bought me before she died. so tigers eye brings me a lot of happy memories.
So my item of choice would have to be the double heart, tigers eye ...fabulous

As a ridiculous lover of animals my favourites are the the seated Flourite Tiger, and the Llanite Rabbit.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what would happen if I put the Rose Quartz Rabbit and the Llanite Rabbit (should I win) in a box. Would I get little beads of mixed gemstones. Or maybe even baby bunnies. :)
I like the snowflake obsidian frog....because I love frogs, adn I love snowflake obsidian - I don't know why but it must have some property I need at the mo as I am drawn to it :)

ReplyDeleteAs far as gemstones go there are too many to choose from, rose quartz is summet to do with my birthsign which is nice but not a big fan of pink :oS I loooooooove Tanzanite :o) I saw a gorgeous ring on the telly not long ago as was hinting at my lovely 'Dr' lol ;o) don't think he took it tho :o( oh well maybe one day lmao xXx

My favourite is Amethyst, not really sure why but I've always loved it. I absolutely love your Ample Amethyst Goddess, she is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely give away! It's hard to narrow down a favorite gemstone, but I prefer the darker coloured stones like snowflake obsidian.

ReplyDeleteOne of my fav books as a teenager was 'Tiger Eyes' by Judy Blume and when I later found out there was a gemstone by that name I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! It has such a beautiful golden brown colour and name!
My favourite in your shop is the African Blood Jasper Heart Keyring! It appeals to my gothic side with the mix of dark colours with the blood red!

I'm following :) I have to say my fave gemstone is Labradorite. Theres something so special and magical about it and the layers within, also its great for back pain which has got to help my spine a little right?!

ReplyDeleteI'm with Jesselula, Labradorite (known as dogite, at my college)is my fav,I love all the different colours it contains. I have been drooling over the large labradorite in your shop for weeks.

Not sure how I missed this!! At least I'm still in time :o) My favourite stone is either malachite or fire opal I think, and my favourite keyring that you have in your shop at the moment is the hematite turtle :)
