Thank you to everyone who managed to enter the competition and for all your lovely comments.

I know some people had difficulty leaving a comment, seems like there were some blogger technical hic-ups!

After playing with some imaginative ideas for choosing a winning name, which included writing names on paper and popping in the bath, pulling the plug and seeing which name got sucked into the plug hole vortex first, LOL and then trying to decipher names on on soggy bits of paper, the winning entry is from the lovely Faith of Abyjem.

As soon as Faith has chosen her handbag, I'll leave a picture of it for you all to see.

The competition winner can choose any handbag from my folksy shop free of charge!

Folksy Friday! Feeling Blue!

Feeling Blue!

With all the snow and ice today here in Berkshire, the thought of going outside not only has me feeling blue, but I am pretty sure I would come back in looking a bit like a Smurf, as long as it is not Papa Smurf, I suppose that could be okay, not sure if I long white beard would suit me, although it might keep my face a bit warmer, so I'll keep my options open on that one!

Winter is Coming!

Snow and Ice!

Winter appears to have us in her icy grip once more, with the threat of heavy snow and minus temperatures for the weekend, I felt a snow and ice inspired Folksy Friday was called for, if nothing else to prepare us for the event and show us how beautiful it can be.

Of course, these wonderful creations will not cause widespread disruption and panic, but will cause a flutter of admiration that will not dissipate with the first touch.

February Fruitcakes!

February is going to be a fun and fruity month, the February Fruitcakes daily listing challenge club is well under way and we all ready have sales on the collective tally, how cool is that!

I have also been accepted onto Pinterest and am finding it very addictive, pinning wonderful creations from fabulous crafters and artisans all over my boards, and have already noticed that it has been rewarded with additional views to my shop, so hopefully is working for the other sellers too, if so this is defo the way to go to drum up interest and give support to fellow Fruitcakes!

Good Bye Nutter's, Hello Fruitcake's!

Just saying good bye to the New Year Nutter' Folksy Daily Listing Club and a big Hello to the February club, which had a landslide vote for the name, February Fruitcakes!

So from Nutter to Fruitcake, I am sure we mad daily lister's will have a fruitful time in February, which is, as I am sure you know, a day longer being a leap year!

To say my fond farewell to the New Year Nutters, I would like to treat us to a feature gallery and also to announce that the reported collective sales tally, in these troubled and financially difficult times was a great 393 sales in total!
